What driver assistance systems can do, where their limits are and how to explain that to customers. For sales and service, in any language.

ADAS and vehicle electronics training

Content

Hardly any other area changes as much from one model year to the next. The training brings teams up to date and builds an understanding that still holds after the next software update.

Driver assistance systems

Adaptive cruise control, lane guidance, emergency braking, parking and manoeuvring aids. How the systems work together, what they deliver and where the driver is still in charge.

Sensors and calibration

Radar, camera, ultrasound and lidar: operating principle, mounting position and the effect of weather and dirt. Plus why recalibration is needed after work on the windscreen or suspension.

Lighting and comfort electronics

Adaptive headlights and high-beam assist, access and locking systems, climate control and seat functions.

Infotainment and connected services

Operating concept, voice control, smartphone integration, app functions and over-the-air software updates.

Who it is for

Whoever explains the system has to understand it first, in the showroom as much as in the workshop.

Sales

Demonstrate functions at handover and be open about their limits, so that customers do not form the wrong expectations.

Service and workshop

System design and interactions for diagnosis, calibration and customer complaints.

Customer support

Answers to the most common questions about the app, user account and connected services.

Training providers

Trainers for your assistance and electronics programmes, including assignments abroad.

Language, location and material

In any language

Training is held in your participants’ language. Professional interpreters are provided by our partner company Limundi Languages, including for mixed international groups.

On site or online

At the plant, at the dealership, in the training centre or at the test track, in Germany and abroad. Live online training is also possible.

Material

Training is usually based on your own material, even if it is in a different language. If there is none, we create presentations, participant handouts and tests ourselves.

Frequently asked questions

How current is the content?

It is based on the documentation for the specific model and software version. If an update changes the functions, the training can be adapted at short notice.

Are there in-vehicle demonstrations?

If vehicles and a suitable route are available, yes. Assistance functions are best understood once you have experienced them yourself.
